MUSLIM STUDENT ASSOCIATION MINUTES: Class II of SGA
General MSA Meeting February 6, 2008

I.  Meeting Begins: 2:45 PM
II.  Roll Call:  15 members present

Reminders/Announcements:
·  Jumaa prayers are at 1:00PM sharp in Student Center Room 207.


·  Please spread the word about our weekly meetings every Wednesday at 2:30 pm in Room 207.


·  Please help us keep the Prayer Room clean!!!

· Event:  Middle East Conflict on February 20th from 4:30 to 7:30.  Spread the word!!!
Discussion:
Next Week we will begin a weely book discussion about the book The Sealed Nectar (story of Prophet Muhammad pbuh).  If you would like read the first chapter for next week (it is available online).  We will have the main points summarized for those that cannot read it for any reason.  Some important hadith were discussed.  A contest was held and prizes were given out to the first three people to finish the word search.
